Even if its just store credit, thats superior than nothing. I dont want to sell them or give them to someone else.

If you’ve the receipt, yes. If you don't then you're out of luck, because you can't very well ask your friend for it. The store might give you half of the total credit back, but probably not the full amount. Sorry.
