I bought a few new pairs of captive bead rings/bead closure rings the other day to put in my lobe piercing. When I brought them home I hadn't put much thought into how are they put on. Now that I want to wear them, I don't know how.

I've gotten the ball out (simple enough) and now I see that the little little gap isn't enough room. How do I put the darn things on?

By the way, I only have 18 gauge for now.
