Okay so here's the deal, I am wearing a cobalt blue, halter top dress for prom, and I don't know what to wear for jewelry… i don't want to tacky… So any recommendations?
and I’ve been told that if i have an updo than it will look odd because there isn't much of a back to my dress..is this true? So if you have any hair recommendations that would be nice as well… My hair is medium length, and naturally curly. =] THANK YOU!!

I would wear you hair half up (the front/sides pinned up) and half down (curls cascading down the back). Then look for some spectacular diamonte earrings.

A necklace is difficult to wear with a halter unless you have something along the lines of a fine chain with a pendant, so I would go with a cuff bracelet instead.

Well, I don't think it would look weird to have your hair up.

Just wear a easy silver or gold necklace, and diamond studs or something.
Don't overdo it with jewelry when you’ve a halter dress for your prom; that'll make it look extremely tacky.
