I’m going to get my belly button pierced in a couple of weeks but I am allergic to most of the cheap metals. So the place I am going told me that I had to bring my own piercer jewlery (It would have to be 18 carat gold or titanium for me to not break out). Where can I find good jewelry that I can bring for them to peirce me with?

Also, can I just bring any jewelery or are there special 'piercer' rings that I’ve to buy?

Answer:
They should pierce it with surgical steel or titanium anyways, both of which are infinitely more hypoallerenic than any precious metal (gold, siler, all that)

No good studio will let you use your own jewellery let aone ask you to bring it, find yousef another studio

You're probably allergic to nickel which is commonly used to pad out precious metals (so that stores can charge you ridiculous ammounts but only have to mention the gold content in the jewellery) so stick to materials like titanium, surgical steel, nobium of PTFE (you can find out more over here: http://wiki.bmezine.com/index.php/Catego… )

Any good studio will totally refuse to pierce you with anything except the titanium they order themselves and autoclave before use, you obviously need to find a superior studio

Answer:
Ick, there's so many things I could say about that but I'll keep it breif; physicians aren't piercers. Aside from the fact that it's hugely unprofessional they know nothing about piercings, you might as well be asking your postman to perform it. Report Abuse

Answer:
I bought my own jewelry but when I got there they wouldn't piece with it because it was externally threaded. Its hard to find internally threaded jewelry. Just be careful. I purchased all my jewelry on eBay and that worked great.
