I'm running out of room for my jewelry. Where do you put yours?

I purchased an awesome thing at either Bed Bath and Beyond or The Container Store, I forget which. It's a plastic pouch with tons of small zippered compartments, big ones for necklaces and bracelets, smaller ones for rings and earrings. The whole thing is attached to a hanger so I can hang it in my closet, and it takes up about as much room as a thin dress. It's fantastic and I was able to get rid of about 50 tiny cardboard boxes.

Long chained necklaces that I don't wear often–I put the charm/end in a jewelry box and wrap the chain around so it doesn't get tangled. I store about 3 necklaces this same way–mostly for when I travel or go back and forth from home and college to keep everything organized. I have hooks for necklaces I wear often and need to access.

You could purchase jewlery boxes, but ones with separate little mini parts, so you can store one pair of earring or whatever, and they won't get blended and tangled with other stuff. Also, another good idea is : get a pin and push it into a wall. You can add your necklaces over the hook, and they won't get tangled either

Haha I’ve the same problem lol… I just can't help buying jewelry and I’ve nowhere to put it lol….

My first idea is to get bead organizers. Usually you can get them at walmart or a craftstore for like $2. They're clear, there are different sizes depending if you are putting necklaces, earrings, or bracelets, and they stay seperated.

My second idea I came up with the other day. Okay, you know those hooks that you can hang photos with on the wall? You can get a bunch of them, attach them to the wall and hang your necklaces and bracelets. Plus it would look wicked cool almost like a jewlery collage…

I use push pins in the wall for all of my necklaces, small cheap boxes for my earings, and most of my bracelets fit around my perfume bottles (if you use perfume a lot, don't do this because it's a huge hassle to keep taking them off and putting them on.)

My friend has tacks on the wall in her closet, and she hangs her necklaces there.

My parents wouldn't let me put tacks in the wall, so I’ve a bulletin board in my closet and hang the necklaces there!

Artificial jewellery you can store the way recommended by many.But real gold and diamond jewellery one needs to

keep them in separate boxes or velvet pouches and

keep them in a bank locker.

i put my earings in a martini glass, studs in it and dangles on the edge, and then i just put my necklaces, bracelets, and rings in a box
