by products i mean, bags, jewelry, accessories, etc…NOT the magazine. why are they aimed at teenage girls when its GUYS who purchase the magazine? i know that there are some playboy accessories aimed at guys, but as a girl, i never really go into the guys department of the store….anyways, i know bunnies are cute and pink is very pretty, but the symbol is a symbol of a porn buisness! doesnt anyone find that odd that there are products for teenage girls representing porn?

idk…what do you think?!

Answer:
well I’ve a gold playboy bunny wallet, and I dont see anything wrong with it. Girls dont purchase it to symbolize what everyone on here’s speaking about. We purchase it because of the bunny and the fact that its a “brand name”. Why do you its so important to girls to shop at Lululemon and Garage? Like for Lululemon your paying $100 on a pair of pants, for a symbol the size of your thumbnail that’ll most likley wear off after the first 10 washes and once its gone, you dont give a damn about the pants. right?

For girls in Kelowna its alwasy been about the fact its a special brand. Not for what it symbolizes.

Answer:
I dont neccesarily think its aimed at teenage girls, but 18 and older is considered an adult so I think it's aimed at young adults. I know like the clothing runs small, I guess they think that the perfect size is stick thin, idk. I think it's about being sexy, what they're going for. I didn't get it for a while either, but you can be sexy and desirable without being trashy or porn-like. but actually, playboy is done more tastefully than others, I mean, the playboy manshion they arent shooting porno scenes, but I mean, I guess its how you look at it. I think women that care about it think its fun and sexy, and who doesnt want to feel desirable? I mean, sex is a massive part of our culture, i think though its all about how you present yourself. theres a line between tasteful and trashy.

Answer:
Playboy wants all young girls to know that they’re born for serving men by being very thin, having breast implants, bleach-blond hair, and being sexually available to men at all times. They are teaching women the way to happiness and success is by being sexually desirable and being sexually active. If they have the ability to get women to believe this, it will be easier to sell their magazine to the men whom they’ve convinced that this is the way real women are supposed to be.

Answer:
they want to make more money, just like each other company on the planet. plain and simple.

furthermore, the playboy logo IS really girly, there are very few products it could be put on that would be able to still look manly with a picture of a bunny on it.

idk, im not saying its right that all these tiny girls go out and buy it and think they look so cute when in reality most of them couldnt even be in playboy if they wanted to, but hey, its money, and sex sells.

i have no issues with porn. like, none. i dont watch it but i dont care if someone else does. so i dont look at the porn aspect of it cause the logo in and of itself on purses and things ISNT porn.

and furthermore, watch the girls next door would you? most of the women in playboy are well educated, with college degrees and completly normal lives. they just happen to pose naked in magizines.

Answer:
It isn't technically porn since it does not show sex, but yes, it is a sexual establishment.

And some girls look up to the girls in Playboy. Hopefully not young girls but for some women it is a way to show you are proud of your body and strong enough to let the world know. Knowing that such girls exist, the products are aimed at girls.

Don't forget, many of the girls in Playboy ARE teenagers (18 and 19 year olds)

Answer:
I concur that the bunny is cute and so forth, and I also concur that young girls would wear or use something with that symbol because of that. Perhaps some people don’t associate it with pornography, but girls who use items with that symbol should be careful about what image they are giving off to people. Porn is disgusting.

Answer:
Do you watch South Park? There's an episode where Paris Hilton opens a store aimed at girls even younger called “Stupid Dirty Whore” (or something really close). It's because (and sorry if I offend any teenagers), 99% of them are malleable. When I was a kid, LaCosta was for yuppies and dorks, now it's all the rage with the young'uns, why? Because someone made it seem popular, then it was the rage. I hope that they (and their parents) also realize the implications of wearing the logo. Why not just wear the new scarlet letter - a giant sign that states “I'm easy”. Because, you might think the pink little bunny is adorable, the teenage boys think you're easy.

Answer:
omg u r sooo rite i find the whole idea of playboy completely digusting i think that hew hephner is the biggest slime ball i have ever heard of its so disgusting i seem to be the only one absolutely digusted by the idea of anyone sluty enough to get their picture taken naked when other people want to parade around in playboy, its completely inapropriate for anyone to take part in

Answer:
i think its sick that girls purchase the stuff.

playboy is degrading to women. its nasty,

its trashy and inviting guys to make crude comments to you,

bunnys are adorable, but i will NEVER purchase anything playboy bunny.

Answer:
Playboy Bunnies on your stuff is tacky and almost trashy. I get were you coming from, I guess they just want to make money, and they know if they put their tiny bunny on women stuff it will sell.

Answer:
I think its odd too and it's gross that those products mare marketed towards teenage girls.

Answer:
I totally concur with your statement! I am glad that you brought up that subject. It seems quite perverted to see a 12 year old girl walk in the mall with her mother carrying a Playboy handbag.

Answer:
Lesbian Revolution.
